These are few adjectives often used with his name. Shri Tofeek Ahmad who is conferred a distinguished position in society due to the exemplary work he has done in the field of education. He made a unique effort to improve the education of young generation in the educationally backward District of Haryana called Mewat(Nuh).He started his mission to educate the class of people who were deprived of their education particularly that are girls. He put in his stringent efforts to aware the parents community about the importance of girls education. To make his mission touch the heights he established a great and grand institution called BABA DEV KHAN MEMORIAL SCHOOL with all the modern facilities in the eductional Block Punhana of Distt Nuh Haryana.

His strong belief was that the young generation is truly sincere, dedicated and keen to adopt new practices of learning. They can enter any challenging arena and achieve success, if they receive focused attention, inspiring atmosphere and a bit of extra care.

He made a distinct contribution to modernize and reinvigorate the education system. Under his stewardship & unique approach to education, the school established well – grounded in its practices igniting the young minds of coming generations. He believed that Education is a dedicated service, hence, focus and involvement is extremely necessary and crucial, as knowledge is growing by leaps and bounds endlessly. He indomitably believed in change for good & consistently adopted new practices of learning.

He attended Government School Punhana for his school education later he joined Government College Nagina for completing his Bachelor degree. He has degrees in TV Journalism, B.Ed from Jamia Millia Islamia University and Post Graduation in English from Agra University. His ambition was to become a Journalist, but his father always wanted him to try his hand at teaching. However, after completing his Journalism degree, He took up a job in several media houses as an Editor and Producer. During one of his assignments, he had the opportunity to visit Mewat district, where he was born. It felt strange to him back to a place that had changed dramatically since I left in 2007. This changed his mind to try his hands at education.
